Mom, Grandpa, Aunt Shirley, Aunt Donna and Aunt Mary. We are deeply saddened to hear of Grandma's passing. Grandma had the sweetest spirit and as her grandaughter one thing I will always remember about her is when we would come to visit from Ontario, she was always so glad to see us that she would hug us so tight like she didn't want to let us go. I also remember that no matter who came to visit she would make them feel right at home. We are so sorry that we cannot be at the funeral, but you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Love Suzanne, Dave and Madalyn

To the Stephenson Families: You were blessed with a truly remarkable wife, mom and grandmother. She often "dropped" off a can or tray of her famous baked goods to us after mom passed away, they were always a welcomed treat. I had the pleasure of caring for Jeannie, (as she was affectionately called) at the Interfaith Home, and, considering all, she never lost her sense of humor, nor her love for sweets. We will miss those "pretty blue eyes". My thoughts and prayers are with you all, may God Bless.

To Wil and Family, I am sorry to hear about the passing of Jean. She was a Wonderful lady who I thought alot about growing up. Every time I would go into Nan and Pop Vaters' as a kid i would cross the yard for a visit, she would never let me leave without having a lunch. Her homemade buns were a real treat and a few times she sent me home with a pan of them. Jean will always be missed and i'm sure her and Nan Vaters were reunited in heaven again. I hope your memories with her help see you through the coming days Daniel Penney

To William and Family, We were saddened to hear of the passing of Jean. She was a warm, loving women who's presence would light up the room. Living next door to Jean all these decades was a pleasure and her and mildred were the best of friends, and goes the same for Wil and I. Jean would always bring over buns, bread or an occasional pie, that we enjoyed very much. We developed a special bond between our two families. Our children and some of our grandchildren became childhood friends and would play together up in the yard. The memories we created together between our two families will always be cherished and never forgotten. There is no doubt in our minds that Jean, Mildred and Fannie are with god and reunited once again. Hold your memories dear for they will last forever and see you through. May god bless you in the days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, love Frederick Vaters and Family
