Clarke/Hennessey families: We are so very saddened on the passing of your mother. How often would she send down a dipper of soup or ask Mom to hem/mend something for her. Mostly what stands out in my memory was her smile. She always had a smile for us all. Almost forgot her famous snowballs. You could only have one but they tasted so good, one was enough! May Gods tender love give you the strength and comfort you need, now and in the coming weeks. Wanda and Gene White

Myrtle & Family of Darlene, We are so saddened today to hear of your Mom's passing. We met her at the Harbour Lodge as she was in the same unit as our Mom/Mother-in -law, Rita Tuttle. Even though she had this hateful disease called Alziemers she was always humourous and witty especially when we were visiting at the same time Myrtle was. Even as I'm writing now I can't help but smile at some of the things she would say to you. We were suppose to visit them in hopes of bringing a smile and letting them know they are loved but many times it was Darlene, who unknowingly brought a ray of sunshine to our lives. Myrtle hold fast to the memories of your Mom, and when times of sadness and grief settle round you, just think back to the times when you took her out of the home to go for a drive. She would get all dressed up with a smile from ear to ear. She was so happy to be going out with you, treasure those memories Myrtle. I know Darlene was a very pivotal part of the lives of her children so thru this time of sorrow be there for each other as she would want you to be. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the days ahead. May God give each of you courage and strenght thru this most difficult time. A MOTHER'S LOVE IS A BLESSING. Take Care, Tom & Margie Tuttle

To Paul & family members; So sorry for the loss of your loved one. I've known Darlene a long time and always found her to be a quiet and friendly person, very nice to talk with. I'll always remember her driving up and down Swansea road in her shiny red car. She would drive real slow,as to take in the sights. They say that she drove all around Victoria like that. Well I bought that red car and later sold it back to her grand-daughter. Wonder if it still works? I know it's hard to lose someone you love especially your mom. There's no other like her. I just lost my mother and it hurts, but I know she's gone to a better place where there's no more suffering. Please God we'll join them again some day. May God give you strength and comfort in the days ahead. We'll be praying for you all. God Bless......Elsie & Will

Paul,Brenda,Dolly, Myrtle and Families; Sorry to hear of your mother's passing. A sweet and kind person she was. Looked forward to her coming into the Council office, her little chats and of course her melt in you mouth cookies she brought in just before Christmas. I also remember walking down Bottom Loop Road on a sunny afternoon and Darlene would be out at her garden. I was amazed at how clean and organized every thing was. I would stop and talk to her and she would tell me the names of all the plants and she was so proud of her garden. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. It is hard to lose your mother and even harder for you because of her age. Keep all the good memories close to your heart and they will sustain you in the days and months ahead.

Brenda, Darlene, Myrtle ,Judy, Faye and the rest of the family, I am sending my deepest sympathy to all of you on the passing of your mother and grandmother. I spent a lot of time at your house when you lived on Murray's Hill. Your mother was a very special person. It didn't matter who came to visit , she always had a smile and the table set for tea and a long chat. It was always a pleasure to go there to visit, which I did quite often. Everyone was always made to feel welcome. Cherish the memories you have of your mother. I will be thinking of you as you go through this very difficult time.

The day that your Mom became one of God's Angels was the day 14 years ago that I laid my Dad to rest. Why you ask is this relevant because when Dad died your Mom sent me up a pot of stew, knowing how hard it was to function and take time to eat especially with two small boys, at a time like this. I have never forgotten how kind she was to think of all of us during that time. There are so many nice memories of your Mom but that one still brings a tear to my eye and a special feeling in my heart. May God Bless YOU ALL love to you all Kate Mel and boys

To Paul, Tina and all members of the Hennessey/Clarke Families: We are truly saddened to hear of your mothers passing. Over the past number of year I had gotten to know your mom quite well and we had many chats during her visits to the Victoria Town Council office, she was very easy to talk with. I will always remember and hold dear a little Christmas tradition your mom had by which she would bring me some of the molasses shortbread cookies she had baked. It was the only time I would have a cup of "tea" at work. I trust each of you too, will find comfort in your special memories and may they sustain you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Shelly & Trevor Butt, Victoria
