Obituary of Mary Parsons

PARSONS, Mary- Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, October 29, 2005, Mary Parsons of Victoria, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: Benjamin; daughter: Elizabeth; granddaughter: Paula; parents: John and Bridget; brothers: Phillip, John and Tom; sisters: Carmel, Margaret and Kathleen. Leaving to mourn four daughters: Alice (John) Peckham, Georgina (Roy) White and Mary (Everett) Baldwin, all of Victoria and Glenda (Reginald) Byrne, Thicket, Riverhead, Hr. Grace; six sons: Lloyd (Christine), Benjamin (Shirley), both of Victoria, John (Helen), Thicket, Riverhead, Hr. Grace, Gerald (Marguerite), Kitchener, Ontario, Roy (Shirley), Victoria and Joseph (Mary Lou), Port Perry, Ontario; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; five sisters: Elizabeth, St. John's, Loretta 'Lolly', Whitbourne, Agnes, St. John's, Hannah, Etobicoke, Ontario and Theresa, Markland; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Tuesday, November 1. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Carbonear General Hospital c/o TCP Health Foundation, 86 Highroad South, Carbonear, NL A1Y 1A4.
