BUTTON, Ananias - Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Friday, June 29, 2012, Ananias Button of Lead Cove, age 93 years. Predeceased by son: Alexander; parents: George and Martha; brothers: Herbert, Eli and David; sisters: Ethel and Selena. Leaving to mourn, wife: Annie R.; three daughters: Selena (Edwin) Ellis, Hant's Harbour, Anita (Fern) Richard, Lead Cove and Ivy (Clarence) Bursey, Old Perlican; three sons: Ronald (Gertie), Lead Cove, Clyde (Sandra), Victoria and Terry, Lead Cove; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Loyal Orange Lodge, Sibley's Cove with visitation hours by request of the family on Saturday, June 30 from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 1 from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 2 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove. Interment in Bethel United Cemetery, Sibley's Cove. No flowers by request, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Bethel United Church Cemetery Fund, Sibley's Cove.
