HISCOCK, Wilfred- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, April 14, 2005, Wilfred Hiscock of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 88 years. Predeceased by wife: Annie; son: Ivan; grandsons: Geoffrey and Derek; son-in-law: George King; sisters: Rhoda, Suzannah and Pollie; brother: Richard. Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Barbara King, Carbonear, Gertrude (Charlie) Kenny, Fermeuse and Dianne (Randolph) Butt, Carbonear; Four sons: Reginald (Jessie), Halifax, NS, Frederick (Donna), Freshwater, Carbonear, Wayne (Gwen), Carbonear and Derek (Cynthia), Red Deer, AB; seventeen grandchildren: Roger, Carter, Danny, Cindy, Desmond, Trevor, Wayne,Sheldon, Luanne, Jodi, Greg, Scott, Wade, Robert, Trudy, Mandy and Rodney ; twenty-seven great-grandchildren: Kayla, Julie, Jeremy, Justin, Hannah, Devon, Haley, Sam, Cassidy, Cheyenne, Alyssa, Michelle, Taylor, Hannah, Adam, Danielle, Ben, Curtis, Julie, Matthew, Christopher, Marshall, Paige, Brandon, Victoria, Hailey and Damon; daughter-in-law: Ella Hiscock, Victoria; brother: George L. Hiscock, Freshwater, Carbonear; brother-in-law: Pat Noel, Freshwater, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Maude Ingerman, Ruby Line, Betty (Harold) Forward, Carbonear, Ethelwynne (Clayton) Parsons, Freshwater, Carbonear and Frances Snow, Freshwater, Carbonear; special friend: Edward P. 'Ted' Noel, freshwater, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Saturday, April 16. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. No flowers by request; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
