CHAFE, Mary Elizabeth (nee Davis) - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, Mary Elizabeth Chafe of Harbour Grace, retired school teacher, age 96 years. Predeceased by her husband, Leslie, 1978. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her sons: Eric (Patricia), Boston, Massachusetts, USA and Leslie (Linda), Harbour Grace; precious grandchildren: Chris, Justin, Matthew and Lesley-Anne; special nieces, as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace until 12:00 noon Saturday, March 12. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church.
