PIKE, Violet- Passed away after a short illness at Carbonear on Sunday, January 30, 2005, Violet Pike of Carbonear, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: John T., brothers: Harold, Eugene and James, sister: Carrie. Leaving to mourn, one sister: Jean (Tom) Howell, Florida, USA; sisters-in-law: Violet Rossiter, Carbonear and Pearl Rossiter, Boston, Massachusetts, USA; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Thursday, February 3. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the TCP Health Foundation.
