Obituary of Mollie Clarke

CLARKE, Mollie P.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, January 17, 2005, Mollie P. Clarke of Victoria, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Allan R.; sons: Reginald, Edward and William; parents: Absalom and Isabella Murray; brothers: Jack, Obediah, Silas, Joshua, Bill and Allan; sister: Louise. Leaving to mourn, six daughters: Mona (Dennis) Cole, Victoria, Goldie (Danny) Mercer, Scarborough, ON, Claudette (Bernard) Smith, Donna (Dave) Downing, Annie (Elihu) Snook and Greta (Sergio) Silvaggi, all of Victoria; two daughters-in-law: Michelle Clarke, Shearstown and Susan Clarke, Harbour Grace; twenty grandchildren: Tracey, Sheana, Allan, Travis, Robert, Michael, Ross, Adrianna, Scott, Lori, Claudette, Lisa, Pauline, Dana, Dale, Tony, Barbara, Brenda, Art and Tina; twenty-three great-grandchildren; one sister: Annie (Claude) Young, Clarke's Beach; sister-in-law: Marjorie Gosse, Spaniard's Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Thursday, January 20. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Mollie P. Clarke Memorial Fund.
