Obituary of Delphine Parsons

PARSONS, Delphine G. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, December 30, 2004, Delphine G. Parsons of Carbonear, formerly of Freshwater, age 71 years. Predeceased by husband: William; brothers: Frederick and Billy; nephews: Wally and Chris. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Sandra Roberts, Carbonear and Kathy Ann (Steve) Butt, Manuels; one son: Walter Roberts, ON; two grandchildren: Stephen and Leslie; four brothers: Eric Turnbull, Carbonear, Alton (Elsie) Turnbull, Harris (Sharon) Turnbull, both of Victoria and Clifford Turnbull, Nova Scotia; four sisters: Rachel Martin, Julie Brown and Agnes (Jules) Brassard, all of ON and Lillian (Norman) Roberts, Forteau, Labrador; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Saturday, January 1. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear. Interment in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Delphine G. Parsons Memorial Fund.
