BARTER, Max - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, September 11, 2004, Max Barter of Carbonear, age 66 years. Predeceased by parents: Hubert and Susie; brothers: Jim and Don; sister: Doris; sisters-in-law: Susie and Lucretia; brother-in-law: Simeon. Leaving to mourn, wife: Nina; one daughter: Suzanne (Earle) Keats, Tilton; one son: Byron (Rose), Conception Bay South; two grandchildren: Anna and Matthew; two brothers: Clifford (Viola) and Bob, both of Bay de Verde; one sister: Evelyn (Clarence) Tuck, Clarke's Beach; brothers-in-law: Cecil Smith, Bay Roberts and John (Betty) Lockyer, Bay de Verde; sisters-in-law: Joyce Barter, Carbonear and Rose Lockyer, Bay de Verde; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR with visitation hours by request of the family, Sunday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Funeral service to follow on Tuesday, September 14 at 1:30 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
