MOORES, Effie Mae - Passed peacefully away at her residence, Carbonear on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, Effie Mae Moores of Carbonear, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband: Andrew. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Emma (Lionel) Clarke, Carbonear; two grandchildren: Rodney, Carbonear and Blair, Mount Pearl; sister-in-law: Patience Noel, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Thursday, April 29. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Park Avenue United Cemetery, Carbonear South. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the TCP Health Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
