LAMBERT, Herbert C. - Passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, March 4, 2004, Herbert C. Lambert of Burnt Point, formerly of Lead Cove, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents: Richard and Ethel; brothers: Elias, Everett and Morley. Leaving to mourn wife: Bessie S.; one daughter: Sandra (Harvey) Tucker, Burnt Point; two sons: Cecil (Sheila), Toronto, ON and David (Renee Ash), Salmon Cove; six grandchildren: Cory, Holly, Jennifer, Michael, Melissa and Glenn; brothers-in-law: Winston (Kathleen) Oliver, Burnt Point, Hedley (Bernice) Oliver, Moretons Harbour and Ralph Oliver, Seal Cove; sisters-in-law: Maria Lambert, Lead Cove, Cavell Piercey, Heart's Content, Lizzie Clarke (Simon Golding), Gander and Mollie Oliver, Burnt Point; uncle: Ananias (Annie) Button, Lead Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Then resting at Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove on Saturday, 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from where the funeral service will place on Monday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Bethel United Cemetery, Sibley's Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove or Calvary United Church, Burnt Point.
