GILLINGHAM, Robert L. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, October 18, 2003, Robert L. Gillingham of Lower Island Cove, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Sarah Jane; brothers: Phillip and Frederick; sister: Doris. Leaving to mourn: one sister: Alma Garland, Lower Island Cove; sister-in-law: Louise (Les) Wheeler, Lower Island Cove; nephews: David (Susan) and Paul (Joan); great-nieces: Stacey (Mark), Jolene, Kelly and Michelle; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove and from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove.
