SLADE, Nelson - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, September 29, 2003, Nelson Slade of Salmon Cove, age 63 years. Predeceased by father: Warrick. Leaving to mourn mother: Myrtle; four brothers: Lewis (Mildred), Salmon Cove, Warren, Mississauga, ON, William (Gloria), Guelph, ON and Samuel, Lac-du-Bonnet, Manitoba; one sister: Bernice Slade, Salmon Cove; also a large number of nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Thursday, October 2. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove.
