NOFTLE, Ralph H. - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Tuesday, August 12, 2003, Ralph H. Noftle of Broad Cove, age 82 years. Predeceased by daughter: Judy and parents: Fred and Alice. Leaving to mourn: wife: Mary Ellen; one son: Ralph Jr. (Lynn), Brampton, ON; son-in-law: Clayton Penney, Salmon Cove; two grandchildren: Sherry (Derrick) and Sarah; two great-grandchildren: Eden and Aaron; four brothers: Heber (Elexey), Carbonear, Guy (Patricia), London, ON, Ivor (Olive), Broad Cove and Stanley, Buchans; four sisters: Pearl Baker, Whitbourne, Doris Flight, St. John's, Sylvia Moores, Old Perlican and Beatrice Noftle, London, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY until 12:00 noon Thursday, August 14. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Broad Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund.
