Obituary of Agnes Lydia Moriarty

MORIARTY, Agnes Lydia- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 11, 2006, Agnes Lydia Moriarty of Harbour Grace, age 86 years. Predeceased by husband: John J., infant daughter: Agnes, parents: George and Mary Ethridge, brothers: Edward, Gordon and Vincent and sisters: Kathleen Kennedy and Rita Fitzgerald. Leaving to mourn, five daughters: Angela (George) Thompson, Bobcageon, ON, Cecilia (Thomas) Coombs, Toronto, ON, Mary (Roy) Osmond, Brampton, ON, Betty (John) Drover, Spaniard's Bay and Bernice (Peter) Coffey, North River; seven sons: Francis, NS, Cyril (Cavell), Harbour Grace, Walter (Dianne), Fort McMurray, AB, Aiden (Mary), Upper Island Cove, David (Dawn Marie), Kingston, ON, Jim (Angela) and Aaron (Verna), both of Harbour Grace; twenty-eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers: Wilf Ethridge, Harbour Grace and Ron (Phyllis) Ethridge, Amherstview, ON; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace with visitation hours by request of the family on Monday, Nov. 13 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Wednesday, November 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral mass to follow at 1:00 p.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Immaculate Conception Project Restoration Fund.
