Obituary of Masie A. Green

GREEN, Masie- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, August 13, 2007, Masie Green of Carbonear, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband: Llewellyn, 1982, grandson: Scott Penney, sons-in-law: Gus Earle and Reg Peddle and brothers: Hayward and Max Green. Leaving to mourn, nine daughters: Nina (Fred) Penney, Salmon Cove, Ursula (George) Penney and Shirley Peddle, both of Kitchener, ON, Elsie Earle, Carbonear, Hilda (George) Slade and Myra (David) Vaters, both of Salmon Cove, Joyce (Lloyd) Barrett, Carbonear, Millicent (Philip) Slade and Ruby (William) Deering, both of Salmon Cove; six sons: Wallace (Daphne), Victoria, Guy (Brenda), Port Elgin, ON and William (Cathy), Conestogo, ON, Hayward (Jessie), Carbonear, Eugene (Susan), AB and Graham (Cathy), Chamberlains; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Wednesday, August 15. Memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Shearstown. Interment in the Jehovah's Witnesses Cemetery, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
