Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, on July 8, 2025, Mary Violet Verge of Harbour Grace, age 74 years.

Predeceased by husband: Gordon; son: Gordie; granddaughter: Victoria; parents: Richard and Olive Crocker; brothers: Rupert, Rick, and Bob; sister: Francis.

Leaving to mourn, daughters: Wendy (Michael), Mandy (Paul), and Angel (Mike); son: Blair (Dawn); grandchildren: Braydon, Cody, Tyler, Josh, Brody, Mackenzie, Kiera, Cameron, Colin, Kaylee, and Layla; great-grandchild: Aiden; sisters: Diane (Hayward), Phyllis (Billy); special friends: Frank and Frankie Cooper, Jason and Heather McCarthy, and bingo buddy, Betty Verge; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, July 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service to take place on Friday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace.

Interment at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
