Joel There are no words I can say to fix this. Joel you were my first grandson and the day you were born was the proudest day of my life. You gave me 7 years of happiness that only a grandmother would know anything about. You were older than your years and we had so much fun together these times will help me . I know your in a better place free from pain that you fought so very hard . We will all take really good care of Connor don’t you worry …we will try and care for him as good as you did. I'm so sorry for Joel's passing. Joel was a real joy to be around and I'm so blessed to have been apart of his joyous little life. I have lots of good memories of Joel, we always had a good time together....had a lot of laughs.... he was always there for a good giggle. He loved showing me his new toys or new clothes and used to say "Take a picture and show Jeff". I'm gonna miss my little giggling buddy very much. Life is so cruel, this should never be. Love you Joel, you'll always have a place in my heart...sweet boy.

Every morning I had the joy of seeing Joel step onto the bus with a big smile. He was a quiet boy who was very kind that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though Joel’s time with us was far too short, the impact he made will last forever.
