Passed peacefully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Friday, June 2, 2023, Margaret Mary Rice of Red Head Cove, age 77 years. Predeceased by husband: Brendan; son: Gary; daughter: Karen: father: William; sisters: Pauline Hartson, Josephine Avery, and Veronica Noonan. Leaving to mourn, son: Kirk (Juanita), Bay de Verde; four grandchildren: Erica, Jacob, Chad, and Terrance; six great-grandchildren: Kaden, Kylie, Kolton, Gray, Ruby, and Brenda; mother: Anastasia, Low Point; brother: Gary, Low Point; sister: Jen Grey, NB; daughter-in-law: Marjorie, Sibley’s Cove; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, September 5 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, September 5 at 2:00 p.m. from Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde. Interment in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
