TURNER, Lillian- Passed peacefully away at the Lion's Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, Lillian Turner of Lower Island Cove, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband: Raymond; parents: Edwin and Violet. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Joan (William) Thorne, St. John's; two sons: Robert (Margaret), Lower Island Cove and Frederick (Geri), Richmond Hill, ON; five grandchildren: Carl (Kim), Wendy (Michael), Cindy, Dwayne and Joy (Glen); one brother: Edwin (Betty) Turner, Lower Island Cove; one sister: Doris Snelgrove, Caplin Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove and from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
