WAREHAM, Reuben- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, Reuben Wareham of Carbonear, age 77 years. Predeceased by parents: Reuben and Maryann; granddaughter: Vicky Marie; grandson: David; brother: George and sister: Elexey. Leaving to mourn, wife: Minnie; five daughters: Annie (Fred) Slade, Salmon Cove, Major Edith (David) Dean, Nelson, BC, Elsie (Randy) Dawe, Brampton, ON, Beverley (Daniel) Morgan, Carbonear and Ruby (Darren) Clarke, Victoria; three sons: Gerald (Shirley), Carbonear, George (Glenda), Greens Harbour and Oscar (Renee), Carbonear; twenty grandchildren: Johanna, Anna Marie, Kelly, Shannon, Sheldon, Sharon, Randi, Lorelie, Rhianna, Aaron, Andrew, Melissa, Bradley, Becky, Kristen, Justin, Mark, Shane, Matthew and Stephen; nine great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Brady, Evan, Julia, Kyrren, Janie, Noah, Jacob and Hayden; one sister: Dorothy 'Dot' Snow, Carbonear; three sisters-in-law: Mary (David) Warren, Clarenville, Lucy (Andrew) Norman, Long Harbour and Dorothy Smith, Springford, ON; brother-in-law: Benny (Joy) Smith, Chance Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours on Thursday, June 7 from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m., and Friday, June 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear with visitation hours on Friday, June 8 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Carbonear or to the Janeway Children's Hospital, St. John's.
