Obituary of Anthony C. 'Tony' Ricks

RICKS, Anthony C. 'Tony'- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, May 27, 2007, Anthony C. 'Tony' Ricks of Carbonear, age 61 years. Predeceased by parents: Simon and Gladys; three sisters: Gloria, Joy and Faye; parents-in-law: Hedley Sr. and Elsie Fong. Leaving to mourn: wife: Jean; two sons: Ricky, Carbonear and Wally, Shilo, Manitoba; one grandson: Brady; two brothers: Simon (Maisie), St. John's and Scott, Ontario; three sisters: Brenda, St. John's, Rose, Ontario and Sandra (Jerome), Ford St. John, BC; brother-in-law: Hedley Jr. (Lorraine), Spaniard's Bay; sister-in-law: May and son:Chad, Ontario; very special friends: Jim and Elaine Kavanagh, Bell Island; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR after 7:00 p.m. Monday and until 12:00 noon Wednesday, May 30. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Anthony C. 'Tony' Ricks Memorial Fund.
