Aunt Elsa,Calvin and family; Very sorry to hear of uncle Fred's passing. Due to travel distance we are unable to attend the celebration of uncle Fred's life later this week. I know for certain that uncle Fred today enjoys the fruits of his labor and has already entered the presence of the Christ he served. Violet and myself have already prayed that the heavenly father will wrap his arms of comfort around you today and sustain you during this time. God Bless and keep you in his care. Kent,Violet

June, Norma and Family, So sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a witness to so many down through the years. I remember him so well participating in the Army services in Carbonear when I was a boy. He wasn't shy when it came to speaking to someone about getting converted. You can be assured he is now reaping his Heavenly reward. May God bless you, your mom and the rest of the family during these difficult days.

To Mrs Pilgrim, Calvin and Norma, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Mrs. Pilgrim, George and I are sending our sincere sympathy to you, and if we were back home we would surely be with you today. Mr. Pilgrim was a wonderful man and you have both set an excellent example of married and family life for Calvin and Norma and their children and grand-children. George and I have fond memories of Mr. Pilgrim and considered him to be a friend to all. Calvin it is always so difficult to lose one of your parents, especially so when you are an only child, as we both are. George and I are thinking about you today and are sorry we are not there to attend the service. Take care of your Mom, as she will need you now more than ever. We will see you and Norma when we get back. Sincere good wishes from George and Helen

I have very fond memories of Mr. Pilgrim. Many times he took me and my friends trouting on the Hearts Content Barrens. My recollection of him is one of a quiet, considerate,Christian Gentelman. I don't recall his ever being angry though I, we, might have given him good cause. Please accept sincere condolences.
