Obituary of Ruby A. Joyce

JOYCE, Ruby A.- Passed peacefully away at her residence on Thursday, December 28, 2006, Ruby A. Joyce of Carbonear, age 74 years. Predeceased by husband: William H.; daughters: Elsie May and Cathy Lois; parents: Leonard and Elsie May Pye; brother: Harvey Pye; sisters: Lillian Parsons, Linda Pye and Eileen Earle. Leaving to mourn her children: Marjorie (Malcolm) Bradbury, Labrador City, Harriet Jones (Wayne Hill), Barrie, ON, Karen (Jerry) Clarke, Angus, ON, William (Debbie) Joyce, Victoria, Debbie Rockwood (Carlson Pilgrim) and Faye Joyce (Bob King), both of Carbonear; thirteen grandchildren: Nancy Lynne, Heather, Vincent, Jennifer, Melissa, Mallorie, Angie, Aimee, Jerry, Deanne, Mitchell, Jaime and David; two great-grandchildren: Kierra and Alicia; four brothers: Fred (Shirley) Pye, Carbonear, George (Barbara) Pye, St. John's, Chesley (Elsie) Pye, Carbonear and Lorne (Mary) Pye, Calgary, AB; sister-in-law: Marjorie (Alfred) Parsons, Peabody, Massachusetts, USA; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Sunday, December 31. Funeral service to take place at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador or Breast Cancer Society of Canada.
