Obituary of Joan Noftle

NOFTLE, Joan- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, November 15, 2006, Joan Noftle of Broad Cove, age 59 years. Predeceased by parents: Malcolm and Pauline Andrews. Leaving to mourn, husband: Robert C.; one daughter: Juanita (Jeff) Pope, Mount Pearl; one son: Chris (Corrina Ryan), Yellowknife; daughter-in-law: Brenda Noftle, Manuels; three grandchildren: Tiffany Noftle, Mitchell and Marissa Pope; one brother: Ron (Elaine) Andrews, South River; two sisters-in-law: Diane (Fred) Knee, Paradise and Violet (Boyd) Taylor, Mount Pearl; three brothers-in-law: Keith (Vicki) Noftle, Foxtrap, Gary (Betty) Noftle, St. John's and Norm (Sandy) Noftle, Botwood; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay with visitation hours by request of the family on Thursday, November 16 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund.
