Hedges, Elizabeth " Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, November 10, 2006 Elizabeth Hedges of Carbonear, age 97 years. Predeceased by husband: G. Eldred, 1980. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Margaret Rose (Guy) Penney, CBS; one granddaughter: Elizabeth (Jeff) Churchill, Topsail; two sisters: Violet Pike, Holyrood and Carrie Moores, Carbonear; one sister-in-law: Alma Fraize, Carbonear; a number of nieces and nephews; special friends: Sonia (Ross) Churchill, Portugal Cove; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Monday, November 13. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
