FARRELL, Bernard J.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, October 9, 2006, Bernard J. Farrell of Harbour Grace, age 81 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Katherine; daughter: Cynthia; two sisters: Irene and Marguerite; brother in law: Robert; sisters in law: Theresa and Marie. Leaving to mourn, wife: Eileen; five daughters: Betty (George) Smith, Harbour Grace, Lynda (Aubrey) Greeley, Upper Island Cove, Deborah (Gabriel) Gregory, St. Philips, Sharon Farrell, Harbour Grace and Michelle (Patrick) McCarthy, Orillia, ON; one son: Bernard Jr. (Deborah), Harbour Grace; son in law: Murray Misch, Harbour Grace; sixteen grandchildren: Paulette, George, Nicole, Michael, Chris, Bryan, Katie, Paul, Steven, Anne, Keegan, Harry, Peter, Brendan, Conlan and Meghan; two great-grandchildren: Taylor and Cassidy; one brother: Thomas (Beulah) Farrell, Harbour Grace; one sister: Betty Scrimshaw, Cambridge, ON; brothers in law: Gerald Neary, St. John's, Walter Stone Sr. Carbonear, Daniel (Rose) Maloney and Gerald Maloney both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Edward Maloney (Shirley O'Shea) Harbour Grace and Jerry Collins, St. John's; sister in law: Helen (Ches) Neil, St. John's, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE and from where the funeral will take place on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Project Restoration Fund.
