I knew Buddy for a long time, I remember when we used to talk, sometimes I couldn't understand a word he was sayying, I'd tell him to slow down, then I called him a true newfie, when ever he got really excited he'd talk faster and louder. first time I meet him I asked him his name, he told me to just call him Buddy, I asked why, because if he was walking down the road, people who didn't know him would call out "ah Buddy" and they'd really be sayying his name without knowing him. Buddy I can't believe your gone, I'll see you again, you'll never be forgotten, and you'll always be missed. And for his family, I am sorry for your loss, remember the good times you had with Buddy and as long as he is always in your hearts his spirit will never go away. RIP Buddy love and miss you Talk to ya later Buddy b'y

TO the Lynch family, Words cannot express how sorry i am for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Buddy from grade 8 to Grad. He hung out with our friends (ricky & joni , etc..) during recess and dinner breaks and sometimes on weekends. He was a funny guy and always made me laugh. I was talking to him a couple months ago for the first time since grad and he seemed to be very happy with is life, and of course he made me laugh as always. I was shocked to hear of his passing and he will be missed greatly. I'm sure buddy's in heaven looking down on all of you. May god give you comfort and strength in the coming days. Rest peacefully "Buddy" Daniel Carbonear, NL

Jennie, Cecilia, and Family: Although we know that there are no words or actions that we can do or say at this time that will alleviate the pain and sorrow that you and your family are feeling from losing such as a loving son and grandson so tragically and unexpectedly, but just know that you are and have been in our thoughts and prayers. As a mother myself I cannot even imagine what you are going through at this time, but know that "Buddy" is once again with the man he loved and adored most in this world, his grandfather, they are once again planning their next day in the woods together. ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG So many words have been left unsaid, So many were still yet to come. Just one of life's mysteries that happen so fast, We can never perdict which day is going to be our last. He has taken you home, where the light doesn't fade, We are playing life's game by the rules the He's made. Too soon He has taken you, Why must it be, So young, full of life, With so much to see. Remembered forever, and loved by one and all, I know that we will meet again my friend, When our Father, comes to call. It hurts me to say this in memory of you "Buddy" BUT, "ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG", Must be True.

Cecila,Jenny and Alice From the time we are born there is but one thing we are sure will happen to us. That thing is that we will pass away -hopefully at a ripe old age. For some of us, this is not the case. Nathaniel was his name though I don't think many people ever called him that. He was a great person who always had a smile on his face. His name said what he was to everyone a "BUDDY". He enjoyed his work & a good game of darts. As I've been sitting at Noel's Funeral Home the past few days I've watched as people who were different ages coming in with different memories & stories of the way Buddy had touched their lives. He was a buddy to everyone -helping out everyone he could, expecting nothing in return. It's sad in this day and age that something so tragic as this has to happen to bring people out to share their memories and thoughts of what a friend means to them. Buddy was my friend and there will always be a memory of him in my heart.I know that you must of been taken from us for a reason in which we don't understand but I guess you were needed elsewhere. Your memory will last forever. from your Buddies

To the Lynch Family. I am terribely sorry for your loss & deeply saddened. Buddy was the funniest & the greatest ever. Also, he was a good friend of mine, in the few short months that I have known him. He was always a cheerful guy, always had a big smile on his face, well everytime I seen em atleast, never once did I see him without a huge smile. His smile could light up a room. Buddy always made me laugh when ever I was upset or angry, actually, he made everyone laugh no matter where the place nor the time. He always called me "Gabby" apparently because I talked a lot ha, good times. It's too bad that I'll never hear him say that to me again. It kills me to know that when im in Harbour Grace I'll never hear someone yelling and screaming in the distance, like he always did, and me or someone would glady say "Buddy Lynch Is comin!". It's too bad he's gone, but like I always said God always takes the best in his hands first, and that's what he did. See you again sometime my friend. R.I.P. Buddy, You are truely missed. <3 Always Loved, Forever Missed, Never Forgotten. Love you always, Alicia "Gabby"

I (jennifer) knew him and loved him not only as a friend, but i felt he was like a second brother to me especially. I always used to torment him and always call him "Nathanial" and he used to call me "little Blackie" because he always called my dad " blackie".... well i just wanted to say that he is missed and loved by all.... and never, ever forgoten... when we got the call from Karen Lynch, my aunt, i cried the whole morning and it hurt me to know that he was gone. When i walk along the track, i just wish i would see him, so i could see that wonderful smile once again. To The Lynch Family: It was a pleasure to say that I have known Buddy my whole life, we went to school together from Kindergarten right on up til we graduated grade 12 together. I seen Buddy just about everyday either if it was out around with the by's or at work. Buddy was always a quiet guy not meaning no harm with a smile on his face always. He was the type of guy that if you started talking with you wouldn't be there for a few minutes, you would be there for hours. Everytime I would pass Buddy walking up the track I would always stop and pick him up and bring him where he was going. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. May god bless you all. I'll always remember you Buddy!~ xoxo Brian O'Neill Hr.Grace

Dear Lynch Family, Buddy was one of those people that if you were upset, he'd cheer you up, no matter what, that was the type of person he was. I never knew Buddy for very long, but he made me feel like I've known him all my life. He was deffently an angel from God.Deep down in all of our hearts we want to cry, but Buddy wouldn't want us to, he would want us to remeber him the way he was which is happy. Hopefully there can be more people out there like Buddy. He'll ALWAYS be remebered in all of our hearts. Dearest Sympathy, Andrea Noseworthy

Dear Lynch family, I have been deeply saddened and shocked to hear of your son's passing. He certainly was a child of God. Not once did I ever see Nathaniel, and he was not smiling. He would walk into a room and the room lit up at his very presence. Unfortunately, the Lord has much greater plans for him although I can assure you we weren't ready to let him go. Words can't express the sympathy I hold greatly for your family. I'm so sorry and I know that the Lord will guide you through the hurt and suffering that this tragedy has caused you. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this troubled time.

To The Lynch Family, My dearest sympathy goes out to you all, I cannot imagine what your all going through. Buddy was a good friend of mine, in the few short months that I knew him. Actually, He was a good friend of everyone. He was the funniest & The greatest, he always made me & everyone laugh. No matter when or where you seen Buddy he always had a smile on his face that could light up a room. From the first day I met him, he always called me "Gabby" apparently because I talked too much, ha! good times. It kills me to know that now when I go to Harbour Grace that I'll never hear him scream & yell again like he always did, or ill never hear him call me gabby again, but I know he wouldnt want us all to sit and mourn over him. He would want us to remember the good times we had while he was here, so thats what we have to do, for Buddy's sake. Just remember that he's watching over us now. I guess the saying is right. "God always takes the best first"

I knew Buddy as my student. He was a polite and very laid-back young man, who always seemed to take things in stride. A lot of us could learn to be more like that, and not worry so much about the things we cannot change. I'm sure there are no words of comfort that will help right now, but I do hope knowing that Buddy left a warm spot in those of us who knew him will provide comfort in the difficult days ahead. In Sincere Sympathy, Sharon Peach
