I would like to offer my personal and sincere condolences to you, Max, and to your family on the passing of a wonderful person. In my tenure as MHA, I had the privilege of working with and getting to know Nellie and, on many occasion, I was welcomed into your home. She was a kind, gentle and gracious person. Please accept my genuine sympathies.

Dear Max, please accept our condolences on the passing of Nellie. We only knew her for two short days in the summer of 2000 when we visited Lower Island Cove. She showed us around the cove and showed us the graves of my ancesters. She was a very hospitable and charming lady. We feel for your loss. God Bless. Harold and Elfriede Snelgrove

Dear Max, We are saddened to hear of Nellie's passing. We only knew her for a short time, as my Mom's (Bertha Hillier) room mate at Harbour Lodge. She was a lovely lady and we were very fond of her. We extend our deepest condolences to you and your family. You are in our thoughts and our prayers. May the peace of God fill your heart and mind during this time. Be comforted in knowing that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". Sincerely, Stewart & Beatrice Atkinson
