PRIDDLE, Ida- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, October 18, 2005, surrounded by her loving family, Ida Priddle of Victoria, age 68 years. Predeceased by parents: Suzie and Jackie Emberley; brother: William Emberley and grandson: Jackie Layden. Leaving to mourn husband: John 'Jack'; three daughters: Pam (Harold) Parsons, Victoria, Laurie Baker, Carbonear and Gwendolyn (Terry) Layden, Victoria; two sons: Johnny (Edwina) and Lionel (Stacey), both of Victoria; seven grandchildren: Billy (Amy), Freeman (Melissa), Karl, Terry, Leonard, Kenny and Jordan; one great-grandson: Kaleb; two brothers: Joe (Carol) Emberley, Victoria and George (Ruby) Emberley, Carbonear; five sisters: Mary Norris, Florence (Lesley) Clarke and Leona North, all of Victoria, Elsie (Ralph) Edward, Arkansas, USA and Tilly (Bert) Mouland, Musgrave Harbour; sisters-in-law: Rosalie Penney, Dorothy Priddle and Fern Priddle, all of Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Friday, October 21. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Carbonear Corps.
