Obituary of Louise Crocker

CROCKER, Louise P. (nee Spurrell) - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, October 4, 2005, Louise P. Crocker of Harbour Grace, age 77 years. Predeceased by husband: Rupert, 2002; parents: George and Edith Spurrell; brothers: Heber and Leonard; sisters: Effie, Elsie, Betty and Dorothy. Leaving to mourn her three sons: George (Beverley), Peter (Bonnie) and Gary (Jackie), all of Harbour Grace; four grandchildren: Stacy, Terri Lynn, Louanne and Sammy-Joe; sister: Shirley Barnes, Harbour Grace; brother: Don (Florence) Spurrell, Winterton; sisters-in-law: Olive Crocker and Mabel Spurrell, both of Harbour Grace; brothers-in-law: Robert Knight, St. John's and Edward (Shirley) Crocker, Harbour Grace; caregiver and good friend: Ada Peddle, Bristol's Hope; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE until 12:00 noon Thursday, October 6. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Paul's Anglican Church Restoration Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
