Obituary of Doreen Brien

BRIEN, Doreen- Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, August 28, 2007, Doreen Brien of Carbonear, age 73 years. Predeceased by husband: Thomas; sisters: Millicent Carter and Elizabeth Bradshaw; brother: Winston Parrott. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Gloria (David) Tetford, Carbonear; one son: Keith, Carbonear; two grandsons: Brian and Mark; brother-in-law: Lloyd Brien, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Florence (Bill) Reynolds, Harbour Grace, Doris (Bill) Taylor, Texas, USA, Evelyn Parrott, Corner Brook and Mary Brien, Carbonear; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Friday, August 31. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Chrons and Colitis Foundation.
